Dear Rogers,

With reference to our conversation this

morning, you may like to know that two further boats

built by Thornycroft for the Chinese Government are

at present on their way to Hong Kong on board the

S.S.GLENABB which left on the 28th May. In all the

Chinese appear to have ordered eight Motor Torpedo

Boats from Thornycroft, and of the remaining four,

two are expected to complete in the middle of July

and the last pair towards the end of August.

I am sending a copy of this letter to

Henderson.
